Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can I get the plate in a length longer than 6 m?
Yes. Baobin Company offers on‑site welding or splicing services to produce continuous lengths up to 12 m based on your specifications.
Q2: Is the material suitable for welding marine‑grade structures?
Absolutely. The S235JR 4320 sheet has excellent weldability with all conventional welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW). Pre‑heating is usually not required for thicknesses ≤ 30 mm.
Q3: What testing reports are provided with each shipment?
Every batch is accompanied by a Mill Test Certificate (MTC), chemical analysis, and mechanical test results. Additional third‑party certification (SGS, BV) can be requested at no extra charge.
Q4: Do you offer surface‑treatment options?
Yes. We can supply plates with shot‑blasting, galvanising, epoxy coating, or custom paint finishes according to your project requirements.
