The first step in production is grinding. Grinding is carried out on a grinding wheel with abrasives, and bone glue or leather glue is used as a binder on the grinding wheel to bond various abrasives. After grinding, some sand holes and burrs on the surface are not too obvious, and then need to enter the second process, polishing. Polishing methods include: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing and electrochemical polishing. The 8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheet is mainly realized by the second chemical polishing.

 

Chemical polishing is a chemical etching process performed on the surface of metal products under specific conditions. Since the microprotrusions on the metal surface in a particular solution dissolve much more rapidly than the microdimples, the end result is a smooth shiny surface. The method is suitable for surface polishing of steel, iron, copper, aluminum, nickel, zinc, cadmium and other metal products from their alloys.
