How to calculate the price of laser cutting and what is the formula?

Many sheet metal parts processing now use laser cutting technology. Laser cutting does not need to open the mold, the mold cost is low, and the processing and manufacturing cost is reduced. Special shapes, patterns and characters can be processed, and the processing forms are diversified to meet more choices. The following is an introduction to the calculation method of laser cutting price!

How to calculate the price of laser cutting processing?

1. The price of laser cutting is divided into two parts, one is the material cost, and the other is the processing cost. Material cost is easy to calculate, just multiply the unit price by how much material to calculate. Not detailed here.

2. There are generally two ways to calculate:

1) Calculated by the hour: For example, how much does it cost to laser cut parts per hour? Generally, it ranges from 400-1000 yuan per hour, and the regional difference is relatively large, which is obviously different from your area. Because the labor cost in the area is different, the quotation will also be different, but the price fluctuation is definitely within this range, but beyond this range.

2) Calculate according to linear meter: Linear meter is the total length of laser-cut sheet metal parts, and the calculation of linear meter length can generally be measured directly by CAD.

What is the formula for calculating the price of laser cutting?

1. The calculation price formula of laser cutting linear meters: price per linear meter = sheet metal thickness * 1mm thick linear meter price. For example, the price of laser cutting one meter of 6mm low carbon steel plate is equal to 6 (plate thickness) × 1.5 (1mm price) = 9 yuan / meter.

2. The price of 1mm thick linear rice varies according to materials and regions. For example: the price of 1mm aluminum plate and 1mm carbon steel is different.

3. The unit price of each linear meter in each sheet metal factory is different. When quoting, check the number of linear meters, and calculate that the unit price of each linear meter is basically at the bottom.

4. The sheet metal factory will also calculate the cost of laser cutting and perforation according to the number of holes in the sheet metal parts. If there are more holes and less linear rice, the price will not be low.
