Precautions for ASTM A335 boiler seamless steel pipe maintenance

In order to effectively reduce the rusting of ASTM A335 boiler seamless steel pipe, it is necessary to pay attention to maintenance at ordinary times. The specific maintenance precautions are as follows:

1. If welding chips, cement, oil, white ash, putty, sand ash, etc. are attached to the surface of the product, it should be cleaned up in time, otherwise it will cause rust after a certain period of time.

2. Due to the difference in water quality in various regions, or if the water quality of iron-containing elements discharged from galvanized pipes is left on the surface of stainless steel products for a long time, there will be water stains, and it will easily cause rust if not cleaned in time.

3. In the newly renovated house, acid and alkaline substances deposited on the surface of the product should be cleaned up in time, otherwise it will easily cause rust in case of moisture.

4. Carbon steel, pig iron or tools with high carbon content such as silicon carbide grinding wheels or carbon rods contact the stainless steel surface for a long time, which will also cause rust, mildew or discoloration.

5. Chemicals, detergents, paints, sauces, oil stains, pesticides and other chemicals are likely to cause mildew or rust when they remain on the surface of stainless steel products for a long time.
