Several aspects that need to be paid attention to during the stainless steel plate forming process

In the process of forming and welding stainless steel plates, there are many points of attention from beginning to end. Only by doing a good job in all aspects can we ensure that the processed stainless steel plates have satisfactory results.

Before processing, a template is usually used for marking. The template used should be made of materials that will not pollute the surface of the stainless steel plate, such as galvanized iron sheet or stainless steel plate. The marking should be performed on a clean wooden board or platform. It is prohibited to use a steel needle to score or stamp on the surface of the stainless steel parts that will not be removed during processing.

When cutting, the stainless steel plate raw materials must be transferred to a special site and cut using plasma cutting or mechanical cutting. For stainless steel plates that are cut or drilled using plasma cutting methods, if they need to be welded after cutting, the oxide at the cut must be removed until the metallic luster is revealed.

When using mechanical cutting methods, the machine tool must be cleaned before cutting, and to prevent scratches on the stainless steel surface, the presser foot must be wrapped with soft materials such as rubber. It is forbidden to cut directly on the stainless steel material stack. There should be no cracks, indentations or tears in the cuts and edges of the cut stainless steel plates.

The cut stainless steel plate materials should be neatly stacked on the chassis to facilitate lifting together with the chassis. Rubber, wood and other soft materials should be padded between the plates to prevent surface damage.

Round steel and pipes can be cut using lathes, saw blades or grinding wheel cutting machines. If welding is still required, remove grinding wheel debris and burrs from the cut.

When cutting stainless steel plates, if you want to walk on the stainless steel surface, the cutter must wear shoe covers before working on the stainless steel plates. The front and back sides of the blanking stainless steel plate are wrapped with kraft paper. Before rolling the plate, the plate rolling machine must be mechanically cleaned.

When machining stainless steel plate parts, the coolant is usually a water-based emulsion.

If processed and welded stainless steel plates are used to make stainless steel pressure windows, during the shell assembly process, the temporary wedge irons, backing plates and other tools that will come into contact with the shell surface must be selected to be compatible with the shell. stainless steel material.

In addition, it is prohibited to forcefully assemble stainless steel pressure vessels, and tools that are prone to iron ion contamination cannot be used during the assembly process. During assembly, mechanical damage and spatter on the surface of the stainless steel plate must be strictly controlled. The opening of the container should be made by plasma or mechanical cutting.
